Description
Redesign Uniswap V3 analytics platform to provide actionable, useful, and reliable data.
Context
I cross-collaborated with our team at GFX Labs and the Uniswap Foundation to build Oku Analytics and Oku API.
About
Unique data is neither found easily nor accessible to the average user. Chart interactions are limited to at-a-glance viewing hindering the value in customizing charts by historic relevance.
Oku Analytics' north star would be to create an easily navigable platform adjacent to the Oku interface. Where, in addition to improving performance, Oku Analytics would streamline data tracking while simultaneously enhance discoverability of trends in the market.
What started out as a simple goal to improve Uniswap Info's performance, turned out to be a robust exploration for bridging the gap between block explorers and Uniswap. One that would center on providing granular data users need, when they need it.
At the time, Uniswap Info lacked the necessary upkeep to remain a relevant, confiable source of information. Not only was data often wrong or outdated, but the type of data displayed was also limited. Focusing vaguely on pool and token info, the only platform (pre Oku) users could track position or user data were block explorers.
